I would prefer Iglesias because he is a very good defender, although he does not have the hiting stats like Galvis. I guess I am old school which says good pitching and defense will win many games.

Galvis or Iglesias would be great. Hechavarria would be my 3rd choice!But to start the season with Gonzalez and Newman, would not be wise in my opinion.

That is a darn shame, they won’t sign a veteran shortstop for 5 million dollars. Nutting is so cheap, I cannot believe it!

It is early in ST but our 2 starting shortstops are 2 for 17. By not signing a shortstop this winter will end up being a large mistake. If Newman and Gonzalez struggle going into the season I would give the job to Pedro Reyes.
