Huntingdon and Hurdle's contracts expire
Looked for details about Huntindon 's and hurdle"s extensions. Both have options in 2018.

I am going to go pessimistic and say neither will be back next year.
However, there is a great chance that they already have been extended without a public announcement (I believe that happened last time they got to option year)

Huntingdon and Hurdle's contracts expire
The Bucs extended Huntington and John Russell in 2010 without a public announcement. I don't believe they would extend Neil or Clint without some sort of Press Release. The organization took a little heat from the local media when they extended contracts in 2010 without notification.

I'm confident both will be back but I wish Hurdle wasn't.

If another team contacted either of them would they choose to remain with the Pirates given the opportunity? I bet both would leave in a heart beat.

I'm with you Bobster, but it's hard to know how much Huntington has to do with the day to day stuff, but I'd be willing to give him another year, but CH is to close to the players looking out for individuals and not the team. It happens in all kinds of professions, but he definitely makes moves that make no sense if your trying to do what's best for the team. He has to go, if not we are in for a long downturn with this team.

Hurdle wouldn't. His daughter has PW Syndrome and CHOP is renowned for their work with the disease.

What does PW stand for? I googled it and "pregnant woman" came up. I doubt that's what keeps them in Pittsburgh and near CHOP.
