Frankly, this is a very telling article. In ranking the worst contracts on a team, they're basically saying here that the Pirates have no bad contracts. Now, in a vacuum, that's probably a good thing. But, realistically, what this tells me is A) the Pirates are risk-adverse and would rather NOT sign someone than potentially sign a bad contract, and B) as we've stated ad nauseam, their number one priority is money management penny pinching, not wins management.
