Another Well Pitched Game By Cole Tonight
The Bucs have not given Cole an offensive support in several of his past starts. I thought they had a chance to bust the game open in the sixth but another frustrating inning without getting any runs.

Back to back doubles in the 2nd by Cervelli and Jaso and both demonstrate such astoundingly low baseball IQs that they don't score. Jaso's double goes over the CF's head into the notch and Cervelli goes back to 2B to tag. He only makes it from 2b to 3B on a double. Mercer then hits what appears to be a SF to score Cervelli. But Jaso is right on Cervelli's heels because he thought there were already 2 outs. So he's doubled off 2B before Cervelli scores. Then bases loaded, no outs in the 6th. Naturally, they don't score. Hurdle needs to get in guys' faces on these absurd mental mistakes.

For a guy who supposedly isn't a good pitcher anymore, pretty good game by Cole and impressive last 6 starts.

When I said he wasn't a good pitcher, he wasn't. I'm as happy as anyone that he's regained his form.

The 2nd and 6th were absolute CLASSICS!
I'm waiting for Cole to explode in the dugout.

As I said before, this team is unwatchable. Little League mistakes on basepaths. Inability to score with bases loaded and no outs. Pitcher has more hits tonight than 3&4 hitters combined. I'm changing my board username to "I can't bear to watch"

Yeah, it was bases loaded, no outs and the #3 and #4 batters coming up. But since both are batting under .230 no one really expected them to get a hit.

both those should be fineable offenses. Are these also cases of not listening to coaches (or coach forgetting to remind Jaso on number of outs).

Kudos to Clint for using Watson for 2 innings in a non-save situation. It's all about the WIN, not the save.
