Well, I'll finally get to vote for someone else as Luis Escobar wins the #20 spot. Pretty close race though. Adding Jordan Luplow, who played 3B in 2015 and OF in 2016. The winners thus far:

3 Josh Bell 24 1B/OF AAA/MLB
4 Mitch Keller 20 SP A-
5 Kevin Newman 23 SS AA
6 Ke'Bryan Hayes 19 3b A-
7 Nick Kingham 25 SP AAA
8 Cole Tucker 20 SS A+
9 Taylor Hearn 22 SP A-
10 Will Craig 22 3B A-
11 Steven Brault 24 SP MLB
12 Elias Diaz 26 C AAA
13 Alen Hanson 24 AAA
14 Gage Hinsz, 20 SP A-
15 Yeudy Garcia 24 SP A+
16 Edgar Santana 25 RP AAA
17 Clay Holmes 23 SP AA
18 Braeden Ogle 19 SP R

Who is the #21 prospect for 2017
I know nobody rightly gets really excited about the #21 prospect, but looking at who's up for this there's a former #1a pick, a #2 pick from last year, a #11 pick who BA said was the best draft pick 10th round or later last year, the Pirate minor league player of the year from 2015, the hottest player from the fall league, another #2 pick, two potential sluggers, and two guys who could play significant parts THIS year in the pitching staff. And we still haven't even added another couple of 1-1a draft picks, a couple of 10+ game winners who finished at AA, and the best SS prospects not named Newman in the organization. And then there's Luis Heredia. Vote early and vote often...

Man, the 2nd 10 (11-20) is really filled with guys on the way down and raw potential. There are possible MLB players, for sure, but the upside guys need a whole lot to go right to see the majors. I feel like I have less enthusiasm for the guys we're voting on at this point than I have in recent years.
Still, it's probably as good or better than similarly ranked guys in other systems. And we haven't even begun to consider Carlos Munoz yet.
