Pirates leave the bases loaded in the 2nd and 3rd.
Only score 2 runs.
Pham hits into a DP. Horrible

Finally a big hit with runners on base.
Cutch 3 runs HR. Bucs up 5-1
Pirates have had 11 runners on base in 3 1/3 innings
Hopefully we can hold this lead.

Raise it! Left a lot of meat on the bone, but it's a win. My biggest gripe is why is Borucki pitching in the 9th and not Nicolas? Unless I missed a transaction, last I saw he was still on the roster. Six run lead in the 9th screamed for him to be the guy going in.

Mike Trout would fit well with the Pirates. .177 batting average.

The BP pitched 5 no-hit innings!

I see our boys got a nice win last night. Good on them. I used to love west coast games when I was younger but, dang, getting older isn't for wimps.

If you didn't see the final out of the game, we'll all I can say is anyone that booed Tommy Pham out of the park this past weekend, I hope they end up with a thousand cold sores on their tongues.

9-3 game, 2 outs bottom 9 no one on base. 8-15 record. Pham risks broken ribs with a home run robbing catch against the left field fence.

That was so pro.

Speaking of so pro, sure did bring back memories of when they were probably the two best players in the game, when Mike Trout made a fine running catch of a liner to the right center gap and taking away extra bases from Andrew McCutchen.
