I don’t think the crowd was impressed with what they saw today. Maybe that’s why they were chanting “sell the team.”
The organization is building a legacy of not being able to do anything right.

Well, at least he didn’t slide into third with his phone spilling out of his pocket. They’re getting better, Bobster, they’re getting better.
I think if the Guardians third baseman had been eating sunflower seeds during the play, Valdez might have been safe.
HAHA! Why is it always us who does the whacky, inexcusable stuff?

Saw the play Bobster. He shouldn't have gone to third. He shouldn't
have been called out. Regardless, when you have Skeenes pitching against
at best an average pitcher, you should win the game

Agree on both counts. The play at third was very close, and he should never have attempted it. That said, the umpire should have granted him time when he requested it instead of letting the player tag him out for requesting time.

Actually this game completely changed on one pitch. Guardians were leading only 1-0 bottom of the 6th. Cruz on third, Reynolds on first nobody out. Hayes has worked a full count. The umpire rings up Hayes on a pitch that was easily a foot outside! You cannot be that bad ump!!!!!! We would have had the bases loaded with no outs. The next batter Valdez walked which would have brought in the tying run still with no outs. Even if Pham hits into a DP the go ahead run would have scored. The whole game changed on that one pitch. I’m extremely pissed that what should have been a Pirate victory was taken away from us.
The only positive after that loss is that Valdez has been crushing the ball the past few games.

MLB has the "Madoza Line", maybe they should have the "Bucco Line" for under .150. Go Tommy Pham.

We’ll never know how differently events might’ve played out if the ump hadn’t prevented the Pirates from having bases loaded and no outs. The pitch selection might’ve been different to Valdez and or Pham. There’s a good chance it might have been a big inning. In any event, that bad call completely changed that inning and the game.

The Mendoza line might be a height too great for many Pirates to aspire to.
