Typical Cruz, should be on second' didn't run hard out of the box.

Cruz was jogging to 1B when he saw his hit get past the RFer and go to the wall. So he had to stay at 1B. At least he stole 2B. But he should have already been there.
Can anyone here play this game?

It’s what I expect from him so it neither makes me happy nor angry. He is what he is, and he’ll never be any different. The question the Pirates have to ask themselves is, do the benefits he brings outweigh the costs of having him?

I heard Jason Mackey say on the radio yesterday that he doesn’t think Cruz is lazy. I can’t imagine how one can’t conclude that. He shows he is in every game he plays.
