Suwinski

He is a failure! Send him down to Indy and hope that doesn't become a bad influence on the kids there. Better yet why not just release him let him be someone else's problem. I'm not afraid of him becoming another Jose Bautista because he K's way too much. He's just another of GMBC's mistakes.

I agree. DFA him. He is so lost at the plate.
Can anyone here play this game?

If it's possible, this new Hitting Coach has made him worse

I’ve seen enough. He has been given multiple chances to find more consistency and reduce the K rate. If Oneil Cruz can cut down on chasing balls out of the strike zone and increase his average versus lefties why is Suwinski not able to?
Suwinski seems to prepare harder, but the results are not there.
I would still like the Pirates to try and include him in a deal for Luis Robert before they DFA or release him. Robert is not doing any better but he has a more proven record on the MLB.

He has struck out about 50% of his at bats this year so far. He is so lost at the plate. Cherington is so stubborn he won’t bring up Gorski, I think because he was a draft choice of Neil Huntington. They will let Gorski go, and he will become a decent player for another team. Give him an opportunity. Heck they have given Bae and Eurika Williams more than enough opportunities.

Another game with two at bats and no hits, but he didn’t strikeout. Just an FYI Gorski hit a homer for Indy tonight as well as a double for a total of 2 rbi. Give the guy a shot!

Gorski just homered again tonight, and the Pirates struggle with their offense. There is no reason to continue to run out Suwinski
