Dodgers, Mets, Yankees really making the noise in the off season.

We got Horwitz. MLB network started out saying they really liked the guy. Never took it any further. Kind of reminds me of this:

The Cubs trade for Kyle Tucker of the Astros. He becomes a free agent in a year so I suppose they’ll try to lock him up between now and the end of the year. I’d be surprised if they did, though, unless they overpay. The Astros get 3Bman Paredes, RHP Wesneski, and a third base prospect in return. Bellinger to the Yankees might be the Cubs next move.

Another key Brewer is gone, this time reliever Devin Williams is sent to the Yankees for starter Nestor Cortes, infielder Caleb Durban, and Bob Nutting’s favorite acquisition, cash considerations.

Brewers dismantling again, I guess this season they want to make sure it tanks. Pat Murphy wins MOTY, he's going to find it a lot harder now with two studs taken from him. Cortes isn't bad, but Williams IMHO is more valuable as a reliever. Cortes threw the most innings of his career last season, if he doesn't approach that level again, it's a real bad trade.

Not exactly sure what the Cubs are doing, they look like they're going for it and adding, but why don't they want to keep Bellinger? I'm still trying to figure that one out.

The Reds started out looking like they wanted to start building, but they've been pretty quiet too. The Cardinals are looking to reset this season.

If there ever was a season for the Pirates to actually look like they want to eat at the adult table, this is it. No one seems to really want to go for taking a division that looks to be wide open.

I just saw that the Red Sox picked up Justin Wilson. IDK when that happened, good to see he's still playing.

I had the same thought about the Cubs, too. The division does look ripe for the taking. If they keep Bellinger, they give themselves a decent chance to win it.

I hope the Brewers are going to break it down and start over. It really frosts me that they keep having success, at least with regard to winning the division. I love how they can’t win in the playoffs, though.

The Reds are surprising me a bit. They moved forward last year and I thought they’d go all in this offseason to make more improvements. They still have time.

I still fear the Cardinals. That organization has a knack for success. It wouldn’t surprise me if they do some things in these next three months to field a better team than a year ago.

As for the Pirates, I don’t have much confidence that we’ll see a lot of difference from a year ago. I hate to think that we’re going to waste what looks to be the best pitching in the division.

Skenes was awarded an extra 2.1 MM from MLB's achievement fund (for players not yet eligible for arbitration). https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mlb/pi ... 436c&ei=42

As they say, a dollar here, a dollar there, it adds up.
