This is the most incredible game I've seen in I don't know how long. If the Pirates were in a game like this, they would have to haul me off to the hospital.

That dipshit should have made the Mets play the makeup April game on a mutual offday. Should have told the Braves owner go screw yourself, you're playing a neutral site when he whined about losing a gate.

This should never have occured, this doubleheader, and the competitive balance of it all is tainted because neither team has to win both games.

Chris Sale was scheduled to pitch game 2 if the Braves lost game 1, which they did.

He's scratched with back spasms. Grant Holmes will get the start for the Braves, the Mets have yet to name a starter as Severino won't have to pitch the second game.

Joey Lucchesi is the Mets starter. If that name sounds familiar to you for some reason, perhaps it's from reading one of the trade threads I started, as he was the player that the Mets obtained in the Joe Musgrove trade.

Mets 6 up and 6 down so far in the game. The Diamondbacks must be ambivalent about the turn of events, because Sale isn't going for the Braves, but Lucchesi is going for the Mets.
