We’d need a crack team of Austrian psychoanalysts to figure out this organization.

Yorke is joining the Pirates, and Williams has finally been sent to AAA. Took them long enough!

I see that the Orioles have designated Craig Kimbral for assignment today. A team fighting for a division title decides that, for the good of the team, to let a veteran go because he’s not doing the job. No hard feelings. No excuses. Just making decisions that are in the best interest of winning.

In the meantime, the Pirates not only keep guys who’ve failed most of the season, they continue to be put in the line-up even though they won’t be back in 2025, all at the expense of playing younger guys who could be benefitting from getting an early introduction to the major leagues.

We witness everyday how winning organizations do business. We’re worse than pathetic.

Doubt it. It would mean having to part with Tellez, Taylor, Grandal, or Joe, blah, blah, blah, and we just can’t have that.

Kimbrel has been awful for the Orioles. Since July 25, he's given up runs in 11 of 19 appearances with an ERA of 11.25, 21 hits, 14 walks and a HBP in 16 innings with 4 HRs. Bucs better avoid him.
