I see that the Orioles have designated Craig Kimbral for assignment today. A team fighting for a division title decides that, for the good of the team, to let a veteran go because he’s not doing the job. No hard feelings. No excuses. Just making decisions that are in the best interest of winning.
In the meantime, the Pirates not only keep guys who’ve failed most of the season, they continue to be put in the line-up even though they won’t be back in 2025, all at the expense of playing younger guys who could be benefitting from getting an early introduction to the major leagues.
We witness everyday how winning organizations do business. We’re worse than pathetic.
