It must be awkward for Taylor to be on the team while he knows he's on waivers. It looks like a safeguard in case Cruz balks at playing CF or is historically bad at it. But Taylor could be claimed at any moment. If not, he could be released when they want to add more than the allowable 2 in September.

Amazing, BC finally acting the past two days like a GM who’s trying to have the best 26-man roster. A little late but it’s nice to see he can do it. Now if he can just do the same in Bradenton next February and carry it through the season.
