It really is time to pull the plug on Swinski.
Maybe we can sent the two Chicago natives, Swinski and Priester along with two of our top 30 prospects not named Temarr, Solometo, Chandler, McAdoo for Luis Robert. I don’t want Guerrero as he would only be with the Bucs for 2024 and 2025.

He holds down the fort after 7. Time for Holderman/Chapman to close out the game.

Why is it that we have 4-1 lead going into the 8th and I feel as though we’re trailing? Such is life for the 21st Century Pirate fan.

Because we have witnessed too many last inning meltdowns.
I still can’t believe that SF series at home where IIRC the Bucs came from behind with 5 runs in the 9th to win; only to see SF do it twice to the Bucs in the following games

You’re right. I’m not crazy after all.

Dang, Reynolds left in the on deck circle needing another chance to extend his streak.

Chapman seemed to want to give him the opportunity but finally gets the third out. Bucs take one out of three in Atlanta. Big series starting tomorrow at home with the Cardinals.
