Max Kranick has been added to the Mets roster for the Wild Card Series. I kind of lost track of him after the Pirates let him go.

It appears that Shelton is here for the beginning on the 2025 season. I would think if the team starts out slow at the beginning of the season Shelton may be on his way out the door. If they are struggling in the first 6 or 7 weeks into the season, a change could be made.

It is being reported that Andy Haines is not returning as the Pirates batting coach. Bullpen coach Justin Mccage not returning.

I am a little surprised that there was no announcement today that some of the coaching personnel were not being retained. It will be a disgrace if the entire staff returns next season. The status quo doesn’t cut it this offseason. Changes need to be made.

I know they say don’t get too excited over March and September stats,but both these players seem very intriguing. The Pirates still need to acquire another bat or two this offseason, but these two players appear they have a chance to make the Opening Day Roster. Let’s hope their success continues.

What does it mean when he's added to the taxi squad? He's just with the team in the event of emergency? I am guessing he is the starting pitcher on Sunday. They will have to make a roster move to add him to the 28 man roster. He is currently on the 40 man roster so that transaction is not necessary.
