At least Shelton figured out Newman is a #9 hitter; not a #5 hitter. Or maybe he just drew the names out of a bigger hat today. Now it's VanMeter's turn to bat 5th. Too bad they couldn't sign a Vogelbach type in the off season to bat 5th behind Yoshi.

with this line up Gamel is probably the best leadoff hitter. The Bucs would have a better chance if they only had to use 5 hitters over and over. The DH hasn't lengthened the line up any.

41 pitch 1st inning for Mikolas. at least Pirates get 1 after bases loaded, no outs.

I think Tucker should bat lead off until it is determined he cannot hit MLB pitching.

To me, he’s already proven that.

Pirates lose 6-2. If Pirate pitchers give up more than 3 runs,

I don't see how they will win 60

Batting Vogelbach first feels so Lloyd McClendon.
