This will be the 4th start for M. Perez in 6 games since R. Perez was injured. Knapp seems to be maintaining his role as the backup. So ya gotta wonder why Michae Perez was DFA'd and replaced as the backup by Knapp. Now it looks like they prefer Michael Perez over Knapp.

At the time it was a numbers game. I think they knew he'd slide without a claim. They mentioned there were a number of things they wanted him to work on. Barring injury or complete collapse, probably our starter rest of the year and probably 2023. Kind of like how Elias Diaz put it together for Rockies last year

Right about now, I would gladly take "average at best" anything. We won't win many games if we don't plate guys.
