What the hell did Hayes do to deserve a rest? Too much Reynolds love here. He needs to drop down in the order until he gets his shit together.

1. Resting Hayes (AGAIN) infuriates me. He doesn't need to rest any more than 1 game every 2 weeks, if that. I mean what's the point ... to keep him fresh for the big games that the Pirates will be playing in September ??? It's idiotic.

2. Get ready tonight for another vintage Pirates starting pitching performance. I'll go with 3.2 IP, 6 hits, 5 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 2 Ks.

It's painful watching this pitching night after night.

For that matter, it's painful watching this offense night after night.

Shelton is obsessed with resting his players. It doesn't seem to be helping them. Maybe more steady play would help them hit better.

VanMeter leads off and strikes out. Must have spent a lot of time with Tucker

I knew Hayes was rested a lot but I had no idea is was that bad. It’s both stupid and ridiculous.
