They said they got Chang primarily to play 1B. It certainly wasn't for his hitting. He hit .228 last year and was DFA'd this year after going 0 for 10 with 7 Ks. So they put him in the lineup at DH.......for his hitting. VanMeter has hit safely in 7 of his last 8 games. So he got benched. After all those starts being an automatic out, we finally found a way to get him out of the lineup. Just start hitting and Shelton will give you a seat on the bench. :)

I sense that you are not encouraged by the way they make their playing time decisions.

They have a few more right handed hitters in tonight’s lineup against Urias.

Tucupita again.!

This kid can play. Not only hitting the crap out of the ball but he is playing great defense

with Chavis able to play tonight there was no need at all to get Chang. The Pirates must like something about him. Something that doesn't show in any of his stats (major or minor league).

We have a dude we acquired a day ago that can't hit as our 6 hitter. The Dodgers have Justin Turner as their #6 hitter. Enough said.

The Pirates won 5-3, in case you didn't know.
