Chang. SMH. What a joke.  >:(

This goes directly to my previous comments that Shelton runs these games like spring training. "Hey, I know, let's give Chang some ABs. Marcona could play 2B but let's put him in LF and keep Swaggerty or Mitchell or a new guy on the bench. It's not about winning. It's about letting everybody play."

I know this is very dangerous and reckless thinking but I'm going to put it out there anyway.

Cut bait with Chang and forget the $250 we gave Cleveland to obtain him. Move Marcano to 2nd base and get Swaggerty off the bench. Why in Gods name does a rebuilding team play that stiff over a former first round pick. I believe Swaggerty has started around 3 of 8 games after being called up. This makes zero sense.

Sorry , somehow I didn't read all of your post. I just saw the Chang comment. Otherwise I would not have mimicked you post.

Chang being showcased for Cards! what a strategy. Indy doesn't even need him.

I’ve felt all along that the plan for this year was to release/trade most, if not all, of the veterans starting in June and begin to bring some AAA and AA guys to Pittsburgh so that by the Deadline, we’d have nearly all youngsters on the roster.

It’s beyond that time to release some of the vets. The sooner Tsustugo, Vogelbach, Chang, VanMeter, Perez, and Marisnick go, the sooner younger players get more at bats. Winning games was never the goal this year so let’s get on with moving to the future a little faster.

Agree and btw , Shelton read our posts and responded by sending Swaggerty down. He had 9 abs....
