ahh the VanMeter error at first will be well received here

Just turned game on to see VanMeter at first. Saw he made an error as well. No sense complaining. Shelton continues to defy logic. Got tired of Brown gushing over a SINGLE by Cruz. Hardest hit ball since they started this stat in 2015. That's nice but it is still a single and didn't drive in a run.

Finally decided to change my rooting goal. Now I feel it is a successful game if the Bucs don't get shut out.



4 innings in and the outcome is still in doubt. Very suspenseful.

I guess tomorrow the Trib will say Wright outdueled Keller.

Other than not being able to catch, throw or hit, this has been a great game for VanMeter. It's well beyond wondering why he's on the team.

Being unable to hit isn't a disqualifier.
