One good thing about this roster: it's hard for Shelton to compose a Sunday lineup that's any weaker than any other day.

VanMeter actually has a better BA than Madris. :o

I see that Rob Thompson is starting the same guys again this afternoon. What the heck is wrong with him? Doesn’t he know that those guys are young and strong and probably need a day off, especially after all the winning they’re doing? Oh wait, the Phils have the day off tomorrow. Never mind.

Actually, Hoskins and Marsh didn't start today.

The good news: 5 IP 0 runs

The bad news: 89 pitches with Harper, Realmuto, and Segura due up.



I can't fault the direction Shelton goes on this one, whether he leaves him in or pulls him. I know he wanted 6 IP as a minimum.



We'll see.
