Brubaker starts the inning nicely with a pair of strikeouts, then gives up two runs on three hits. Can our boys catch up?

Bucs cut the lead in half on a Mitchell walk and a Chavis double. But too many strikeouts (four in two innings) already tonight.

Bucs strand a runner in the third. Now eight strikeouts in three innings. (I miscounted earlier.). That’s not going to get it done.

Bucs fumble an opportunity to score in the 4th. Sure wish we were still playing the Reds.
