Red Sox are leading a charmed life. In less than 4 games so far, they have benefitted from 2 dropped routine fly balls and followed both with a HR.

And now they are going to benefit from 24 consecutive innings of facing Pirates pitching.

Reynolds home run- of course no one on- 5-4 Boston

This is my first 2023 game with the Pirates broadcast team. I watched the Reds broadcast the first 3 games. I think the Reds do a fine job, although not as good as when George Grande was announcing. But so far, Brown and Wehner seem fine.

Nice 2-out RBI hit for Suwinski to tie the game. He needs to do more than just hit HRs. That was the kind of AB they need from him.

Wow, the Bucs have scored five times already tonight.

Not to be negative, but the two first baseman we brought on board better start hitting. It is early, but they have to begin hitting.
