Here we go. Only 161 games until BN cleans house with management. What kind of "hunch" does Shelty have for starting Pham instead of Suwinski?

This lineup is subject to change.

Can't score with that line up. Another long season of strikeouts and a lack of hitting with risp . I was too optimistic with my record prediction .

Terrific pitching match-up today. If both guys are on top of their game, it'll be a real treat for those who love pitching.

I was waiting with great anticipation for Possum's opening day remarks. He did not disappoint !!

I've tried my best to be optimistic about this team but I failed.

This lineup is terrible, and now the starting rotation, which was ALLEGEDLY going to be a big strength, is bad. We've got a superstar, a slighty-above-average Keller, and 3 journeymen.

As for today, this game has 1-0 loss written all over it.

Well good luck to our Pittsburgh Pirates.

Tough seeing all my golfing buddies getting pumped for what should be another Playoff season for their Phillies. Although my black and gold hat looked good amid all that red.

Yep, I think I was to optimistic also. I run a contest on another board and no one is over 72 wins except me.

If they only win 72 games or less expect to see a new manager and GM in 2026. I guess that would be another rebuild for the staff as well as the team.

My final roster prediction was almost perfect. I got the 13 position guys perfect. I nailed 11 of the 13 pitchers, but I did have Borucki being brought back into the fold.

Way better than Possums lineup prediction!

Let's Go Bucs!

The lineup announcement was complete garbage, they didn't get the audio feed to well into the Marlins lineup.

Good to see Blake Lalli as the Marlins third base coach. I am absolutely floored his mom didn't say anything to me about it today, I had to go into work on my off day for skills day training, and she was one of the trainers. We're always talking baseball, and I'm always following Blake.

For those who need reminding, Blake was a teammate with Neil Walker at Pine-Richlands, and had a couple of appearances in MLB, and started for the Cubs one year and the Brewers another at PNC, his mom getting an interview on television broadcast, and she's my former boss.
