I would probably look at highlights online, but I'm working. On break.



I looked it up. Golf is what MLB guys do in Septembers when they don't step it up.

Father's Day 1962 my father took me to Forbes Field for my first game. I saw HOFers Clemente, Mazeroski, Spahn and Aaron. I even got to see Bob Uecker strike out.

Fathers Day, 2023. Didn't get to see any HOFers. Didn't get to see any busts, either. I got to see clients.



I did get to listen to the same Eucker call today's game, though.

It would make more sense to let him make his MLB debut at a position at which he's comfortable.

More comfortable..... more experienced......I'll just have to assume more skilled, too.



If Hedges was performing lights out, Davis would likely still be in the minors. There was the need to call Davis up- to replace the unproductive counterpart.



He's a big boy. He's proven to handle the pressure of the media. He's a man. He's fully capable of catching, and if he isn't, then why is he in Pittsburgh tonight?



He's the future. The future is right now. Get him started and send dead weight floating down the Mawn.

Where did Adly start when the Dirty O's call him up? I forget. Hmmm....Oh, that's right. He was their catcher for the game.
