I have not seen anything from the Pirates beat writers, but I looked up Bednar on the internet this afternoon and he has signed for 5.8 million dollars for 2025. Maybe the Bucs will announce something tonight.

If true, he should be quite happy after the season he had.

I agree the amount is less than the amount projected by MLB Trade Rumors. Hopefully he can rebound in 2025.

Interesting. I was just reading that when a player signs at this point for less than projected arb salary, it means he is a borderline non-tender candidate. I wonder if Bednar was concerned he might not get a contract.
