What a lousy lineup for Shelty today. Skenes should be pissed that the players around him are really bad at hitting. Skenes can pitch shutout ball through 6 innings and then leave the game so the lousy bullpen can give away the chance to win. Shelty and BC you guys suck.

Great chance of rain. This will most likely be a BP game if played :?:

Just the top of the first and the Brown/Capps Comedy Show is in full swing. 🙁 Unfortunately.

Skenes really struggled with control in the 3rd. But 6-4-3 DP bailed him out.

Skenes goes 6 innings, 102 pitches. Lowers ERA to 2.06. But game only tied at 1-1.

Cruz PHs and is called out on a pitch clock violation for strike 3. He must have the IQ of a napkin.

It almost looked like Cruz did it on purpose. He still had his timeout to use but made no effort to get ready as the clock ticked down. Finally, the catcher turned around and looked at the ump as if, "aren't you gonna call it?" Greg Brown couldn't believe it. Maybe Cruz is mad that he didn't start. Either he did it for spite or his head was a million miles away.

I hope he’s learning not to get frustrated because this is the way it’s going to be until he’s finally traded away. Just take a deep breath, Paul, and enjoy that you’re in the big leagues instead of toiling in a mill.
