Possum, you're forgetting Shelton's first rule: if a player gets a hit, he sits out the next game. It's very tiring being on base.

Not only did Davis have a double, but he caught a shutout. And Skenes is a similar type to Jones. I guess Shelton is hoping for a different result tonight. But as we know, everybody has to play (except Peguero. He could have played SS with Gonzales at 2B).

I’ve never been able to figure out Jason Heyward. He never came close to being the player he was projected to be when he first arrived but, when it comes to playing against the Pirates, it seems like we can’t get him out.
