Comparing these two line-ups we can conclude that there’s no comparison.

I don't often get to see the pregame show but today I saw Kevin Young on it for the first time. He did fine. I've also seen him on the intro to games and he's fine there too. The difference between that and doing game broadcasts is that in pregame situations, he knows what he's going to say and can read from a teleprompter. When he has to speak off the cuff during games, his voice falls off and drones. I hope the sports network can see his strengths and weaknesses and use him where he is effective. Keep him off game broadcasts where he is awful. They did that with McKenry. They should do it with Young too.

Jones threw nearly all of his fastballs at 100 mph and over. He means business tonight.

I wonder if there's an MLB stat for the average distance between ball and bat on swings and misses. It seems like when Cruz swings and misses, he's not even close to the ball.

Cruz struck out on four pitches, none of them in the strike zone. I thought we were told that he’s much more disciplined at the plate than he was before.

Thinking about Glasgow when he was here, he seemed to have no direction, no plan, no idea what he was to do. He left here and got the help he needed and he’s now reaching his potential.

Jones dancing into and out of trouble so far but still hasn’t given in. No score after two and a half.
