Shelty must be using AI to make out his lineups. Sometimes AI does not work worth shit especially when he continues to play TellezTubby at 1B.

Poor Paul Skenes. He needs to toss a shutout, and that may not be enough to get a win. After he got a load of Suwinski last night, I'll bet he went to Shelton's office this morning and asked if he could hit instead him.

And I see Oliveras is out of the line-up. That'll teach him to have a HR and double in four at bats last night.

TellezTubby, Suwingandamisski, and Triolo all in the lineup together. WTF, did Olivares give Shelton the hot foot yesterday? Alika Williams, though certainly not my choice to be on the roster, put down a bunt that certainly was a dumb call by Shelton in the middle of the game, but he did his job, and got a leadoff knock. But Triolo needs his pat on the back now.

My lawd, I hope every single one of them goes 3-4 and deep at least once, and the Pirates win, and someone can come on and tell me, "see? you don't know what you're talking about."

To which I'll respond, "I'm glad this was one of the two times a stopped clock is right in a day. But make sure you come back the next ten times when they do what they have been doing."

Incredible that Bae and Lamb are in AAA , while this dope keeps sends Suwinski and Tellez out there. I've never seen a player look so bad as Suwinski did fanning 4 times yesterday. How does this one grab you all ? The cubs had zero swing and misses at Jones' FB which was 96-99 .Jack himself had 5 swing and misses on fast balls. 3 were in the low 90's and the other 2 were 88 and 89.

Just played Pirates at -113 and they did me right yesterday. :D

Time to rip off about 7-8 wins in a row.

Someone mentioned this the other day. There are currently 166 players who are qualified hitters in MLB. TellezTubby is 19 PA's shy of qualifying. However, if you place him on the list and make it 167, the Pirates lineup today would have 158, 163, and 166 in batting average in MLB. Yes, yes, I know BA is just too old school. If you went by OBP, Triolo jumps up to number 142! TellezTubby would still be 163, and Suwingandamisski would be one better at 162.

All in the same lineup today. They have a combined 15 extra base hits, 10 doubles and 5 HR's. That's in a combined 423 plate appearances.

TellezTubby has 4 extra base hits in 120 PA's, Triolo has 3 in 161.

Alika Williams has 3 in 59 PA's.

TellezTubby has 25 total bases. Alika Williams has 18.

Remember when we all bashed Williams? It's so funny, he's outplayed both Triolo and Tellez, yet he's the one riding the pine most of the time. Another case of where someone is outperforming someone else, yet doesn't get the playing time. Is Williams the answer? Of course not, he's great for the role they use him for, last guy off the bench, defensive replacement.

At some point though, you have to give the guy the job, at least for a while.
