I'll be surprised if he makes it through waivers.
Kind of not smart to pick up a guy who had no options left who was nothing more than a fungible reliever. He was a first year Arb guy, if you pick those types up, you really need to have options on them. He had a split contract, 240,000 for the minors, so that price tag might scare teams away.

Too bad they didn't have room for Contreras. Does anyone on this team know what they're doing?

Mlodzinski is being activated today. I'm guessing that's bad news for Nicolas.

I hope that isn't the case. I'm wondering if Chapman could end up on the IL, he had to leave the game the other day. Nicolas has been fantastic, one bad outing. He's untouched in every other outing. Need bullpen arms that can strike people out, that's huge in extras

Just saw same of what 3p3 posted over on reddit, didn't see his post before mine.
Priester is the smart move, he just pitched, and the way the schedule shakes out for the next couple weeks, they could almost go to a 4 man rotation after this next stretch of 5 games before the off day. Then a normal swing through the 5 guys for the next 6 games, a day off, two games, another day off, 3 games then another day off. The month of June is kind also, they have one stretch of nine games, nothing else over 6. August and September each have only 2 days off in the schedule.
