The lineup looks decent except for #4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Running on contact against drawn in infield results in another easy out at the plate. That play works about 1 percent of the time. But the Pirates never stopped trying it.

Greg Brown just said Cutch is 6 for 11 with 2 HRs lifetime against Stripling. Cutch isn’t playing today. He’s resting to prepare for tomorrow’s day off.

In a clever move, Pirates manager Mortimer Snerd waits until Stripling is out of the game and then has Cutch pinch hit.

Kevin Young (trying to work in a few other words besides "Brownie") says the Pirates are a talented team just not getting any breaks. They're about as talented a team as he is an announcer.
