Why sit Cutch? The guy is hot, hot, hot in the leadoff spot. Shetly must be in love with Tellez and Suwinski.

It could be the all too familiar practice of resting hot hitters. But they play at 12:35 tomorrow, so it may be that he wasn't going to play a day game after a night game so he was going to get one of those games off.

Bobster, you’re probably exactly right. I imagine that’s just what the Pirates are thinking. Except, that thinking is cockamamie. The guy’s in the DH position. He’s not running around out on the field on defense. He bats, and then he goes and sits down, for crying out loud! How exhausting can that be for a man in his late 30s? All of this resting of these guys is exasperating.

I guess this is a bullpen game with Fleming starting.

It seems like whenever they go to Hannah Mears, she gives background information on players. With Robbie, he was usually talking about people in the stands or food or something unrelated to the game. I think she’s a big upgrade over him.

From what I've read, seems like a pylon would be a big upgrade over him.

Perkins makes the third out on the basepath for Milwaukee.

Another swing and a miss for Suwinski. Error by Tellez in the 3rd.

Pirates get their first caught stealing of the season. And it didn’t involve a catcher.
