As ST is soon to start I thought I would give you guys to pick who might be in the home opener lineup.

Here are my picks and did not do them by lineup position but by their fielding position

SP Marco Gonzalez (Keller with start the season opener)
C Henry Davis
1B Rowdy Tellez
2B Peguero
SS Oneil Cruz
3B KeBryan Hayes
LF Bryan Reynolds
CF Jack Suwinski
RB Connor Joe
DH Andrew McCutchen

But if any of them have a good game the previous day, they'll be a due a rest for the home opener.

This of course is from the guys on the current 40 man roster.

Just thinking about the Opening Day Roster since the signing of Michael A. Taylor. I am going to assume the Pirates will break camp with a roster of 13 pitchers, and 13 position players. If the Pirates carry 13 position players I am going to assume Palacios is the odd man out. Guessing who the 13 players to be would be:
Davis
Delay
Rowdy
Triolo
Cruz
Hayes
Joe
Peguero
Reynolds
Taylor
Suwinski
Olivares
McCutchen

Unless there is a late trade, I think these 13 position players will break camp next week.

Okay, now that we're well into spring training, I'm changing my mind. This isn't my batting order, just where I think people will be:
DH-McCutchen
C-Davis
CF-Taylor
1B-Tellez vs. RHP, Triolo vs. LHP
2B-Peguero
SS-Cruz
3B-Hayes
LF-Suwinski
RF-Reynolds

Needless to say, a lot of us were wrong about Peguero.
