The Bucs magic number currently stands at 8.
As of today their record is 55-69
8 wins would give them a total of 63 which means
they would not lose 100

With the Pirates 11-1 last night the bucs magic number is now 7

2 more wins and they surpass my prediction, and still August.
They are 15-20 since the all star break. They have 37 games left.
I think they have a great shot at not losing 90 games.
I am already ecstatic they will far exceed my prediction.

I am sure if they would not have lost Cruz in early April they would have at least 60 win’s right now.I know all teams have injuries, but losing Cruz was huge!
