I was a little surprised when they announced today that Marcano will not begin active playing for 9 to 12 months. I guess I assumed he would be ready for ST activity sometime in early March. I assume now he will be out until at least the 2024 All Star break.

Marcano is being investigated on betting on baseball while with the Pirates. Doesn’t sound real good for him.

If this proves to be accurate, he'll face a lifetime suspension. What don't these guys understand?
