This is a very bad thing. Even if the accusation is eventually proven to be groundless (please!!) this situation has to adversely affect Kang. Perhaps we're seeing this manifested in his recent batting slump.

I read that MLB could place him on paid leave for 7 days to further review the matter. This situation is very unfortunate for Kang and the Pirates.

Please let this not be true.



OTOH, really good thing NH went out and got Freese. Genius move.

Well whether this is true or not Kang still has to realize that he put himself in a bad situation here and didn't do himself any favors.  However, I find it interesting that the women accusing Kang of this waited until almost 3 weeks later to come forward about this after finding out exactly who Kang was.  With that being said, I'm not putting Kang on any 7 day leave until I find out all of the information about this case. These games before the break remaining with the Cards and Cubs are way too important to not have Kang available in any of them.
