Instead of trading prospects for scrubs , how about bringing Brault up ? Tonight had another kind of nice line . 75 pitches with 51 strikes. Didn't really get hit too hard. No runs , no hits , 2 BB 7 K's.

I thought he looked good in his debut with the Bucs.

I like his command better than Niese and Locke

I said before the break if it were up to me Brault would move into the rotation ahead of Locke & Niese. He's impressive.

I watched his 4 inning debut and felt the same as you two guys. We aren't going to win a WS this year ..it's more than likely another WC one and done . And the WC game is the ceiling and why would anyone want to deal young talent to overpay for a pitcher you probably don't need in 2017 ? If Cole were a dominant ace , you could make a bad case for it but it's simply just not the case.
