The new guy, Watson, Niese and Locke. I do not think the Pirates are done fine tuning!

I agree, I think Niese, or Locke may get moved before Monday at 4:00

If the Pirates can move Niese or Locke the return will be 26-yr-old players in low A ball ... or veteran pitchers who have established they are equally bad.
If NH can move those guys and get ANYTHING of potential value, props to him.

Niese could potentially move after the deadline in a waiver trade. He could have value to a rebuilding team and should clear waivers.

Oh, he'll clear waivers. But Niese's negative WAR indicates he has no value to any team. Rebuilding, contending, punting, floundering, any designation you choose. He's untradeable.

Oh, he'll clear waivers. But Niese's negative WAR indicates he has no value to any team. Rebuilding, contending, punting, floundering, any designation you choose. He's untradeable.
I doubt Niese will be out of baseball after this season. Someone will take him.
