Padres are starting lefty Friedrich. He's terrible.

In his last 7 starts, he's 0-5 with a 6.19 ERA.

I am fully prepared for him to throw at least 5 shutout innings this afternoon.

If the Pirates win today (BIG IF), they will finish their "easy" stretch at 9-9.

And the next 19 games are most definitely NOT easy. The next 19 could bury the Pirates completely if they don't get their act together.

Freese with 2 big RBI so far, and Taillon with a pretty efficient 4 IP with no runs. 3-0 Pirates

So typical of this team...one night they nearly get no hit by a bum like Jackson...the next day they look like a team that could make a run.

So up and down...it's a painful ride...

Terrible base running. We look like the Washington Generals of MLB.

Harrison completely killed that one with not one, but two terrible decisions on the bases
