Pirates Prospects is reporting the Kang may go on the DL. Guess he hurt his shoulder sliding into 3B in the 7th inning last nite. Had it wrapped and did not take BP today. Perhaps that is the reason for errors last nite. If so why did Clint keep him in there if he is hurt?



Also say Mr Bell is not in the Indy lineup and the same for Jason Rogers.



As of the article posting there had been no announcement from the Bucs on the situation.

Apparently it's been confirmed now that Kang will go on the DL (2 to 4 weeks) and Bell will be called up. It does seem odd Hurdle would leave him in the game. I'm guessing he may not have indicated the degree of his injury.

I wanted to see Bell recalled; but not at the expense of Kang

It'll be interesting to see if Bell shows any indication of having the "hole in his swing" that was reportedly part of the reason he needed more work at AAA. I certainly didn't see any evidence of it in his brief MLB debut.
