Timing ended up being near perfect and trade as amazing

Totally agree. Giles was both awesome and a total product of steroids. He was the last Pirate to fully exploit the short porch in right field consistently IMO. I often felt like he was the last Pirate to care enough about winning to juice . In all seriousness though, he was the rare trade that happened at exactly the right time.
