Good News for Iowa baseball fans!

I just found out the Royals are no longer blacked out here! We're down to only FIVE teams being blacked out here, instead of the usual six. That's three or four more Pirates games that I get to see every three years!
Seriously though...if one team can give up its rights to a certain area, perhaps others can follow suit. The Royals had to know that claiming Iowa as home territory was not good for business. Since there are literally like five Royals fans in the state (and every one of them have been minted within the last three years), no cable companies carry Royals games. For most, if not all, of the state, you were unable to watch Royals games, either on Fox Sports KC or on through MLB.tv/Extra Innings.
That's still the same situation here with respect to the Cubs, Cards, Brewers, White Sox, and Twins, but hey...this is a start! Thanks Royals!
