Cole Train pitching verses Volquez.

Top of 1st. Cole requires 30 pitches to give up 3 runs.

Our Ace is struggling....

Career-wise, Cole has given up more runs, hits, 2Bs and 3Bs in the first inning than any other inning. And coming off 3 consecutive bad games, he puts the Bucs in an early 3-0 hole. This team is in an awful tailspin.

Chance to come back and make a statement in the bottom of the first with the bases loaded and two outs. Cutch takes a called third strike.

Very disappointing to see Cole regress so badly.

I'm gonna give this a try - Cole is not a very good pitcher! ;)

And he is no longer the hitter that he was when he first came up.

Searage has done a lot to turn some pitchers around. Unfortunately, over the past 1+ years there are few signs that Cole will be the pitcher that we are dreamed that he would be and which it appeared he was turning into during the 2015 season.

Hopefully not the case, but it is possible Cole has already had his career year. Baffling since he hasn't been seriously injured.

Honest question.

If true, how many good pitchers has Huntington developed in 9 years and 7 months?

Now it's 4-0 on back to back doubles. C'mon VA, you're not even trying!
