Colin Moran

His career minor league slash mark is 290/353/430/783; just a bit below Josh Bell's 303/373/454/827.

Last year Moran was 308/373/ 543/ 916, somewhat better than Bell's last minor league season: 295/382/468/ 850.

If Moran's newfound power is real, we might have something here.

I don't think his stats are comparable to Bell because of different leagues and Moran going to college but



hoping his power is for real too.  Last year he did hit for power at both home and the road.  However, his average was much higher at home.  Here are his splits:



home   349/408/581



road     252/327/497



If he can put up an oba avg. 325 and slugging of 450+ with Pirates that would be a good first full major league season.

I wish the article would have addressed his home and road splits. Hopefully they are meaningless even though they are huge.
