Sure would be nice if he would approve the acquisition of a free agent outfielder. I am sure with spring training two weeks away the Bucs could acquire a free agent at a reasonable salary which would fit into the 2018 budget.

Good point. The newspaper industry is dying. I couldn't tell you the last time I read a newspaper.

I don't even read the free one that gets thrown in my driveway once a week.

Nutting operates his purchases of newspapers the exact same way that he operates with the Pirates. A few months ago, he purchased the Uniontown Herald Standard newspaper, and promptly laid off close to half of the people that worked there. As a result, the paper consists mainly of advertising.
