I like Williams a lot. He had a great ST last year and was heads and tails better than Glasnow, who was gifted the 5th starter spot while Williams went to the BP. He ended up making 25 starts and leading the starting pitchers in ERA.

Nice article, thanks for sharing. It also has Cole highly ranked. So the Bucs had two pitchers highly rated. (Cole's command was second highest)

Williams is probably my favorite starter. He is smart, goes in with a game plan, and adjusts as needed. It is very apparent when you watch him pitch, how much he enjoys the challenge of what he is doing. He may not have the best stuff, but he uses it all, and he probably has the best intangibles – heart, guts, and savvy.

yes and he has good control. I like watching him pitch.

He is becoming a fan favorite with his Twitter account too. He's funny and responds to his fans.

I really think the Bucs Brass believe the young pitchers will get the team to the postseason in the next two or three years. I hope their thinking is correct. I am always concerned with arm injuries with pitchers.
