I didn't realize Brentz was out of options.

This game should be on AT&T too. I saw it advertised.

I guess Brentz makes the team?

Apparently it's on Root successor if you are in the viewing area and MLB if not. I would guess a rerun later on MLB.

So he would be making the team over Osuna and Luplow correct? I think that's fine. Luplow could use some more AAA at bats and Osuna isn't really a good defensive OF'er. I think it's important for them to have a solid RH OF option to start against LHP to give Polanco or Dickerson a day off. It is mildly concerning though that they don't at the moment have someone that should be playing CF behind Marte.

Watched or should I say listened to most of the game on AT&T sportsnet.

All was going well until they had NH on for an inning to comment on the 2018 contending team. All he did was regurgitate the usual Nutting-Huntingdon bull shit.

Game was exciting as the won 8-3 and Kingham did a nice job. Although he gave up a 3-0 lead and threw a ton of pitches he did work his way out of jams that could have led to even more runs for the Tigers. Kid is gonna prove he belongs in MLB this season.

Next game on tv in the Burgh is on Saturday.

Could be it wanted to get it on tape again to make it easier to remember during the season.

Now with Dickerson, there is no reason to have Luplow up. He should start in LF at Indy.

I wonder if Osuna would be wanted by other teams. He really doesn't have a position with the Pirates. He could be a career back up at 1B, but that would suck for him. With Bell, he won't get many chances in Pittsburgh.

The only problem with moving Osuna is that BMTIB will never trade a "top" prospect, something they abhor doing as you are well aware.

I wouldn't consider Osuna a top prospect. He would be bench player in Pittsburgh. Like he was last year. Trading him would be giving him a chance to make the majors/stay in the majors somewhere else.
